As we become more conscious about the food we eat and where it comes from, growing our own indoor vegetable garden has become increasingly popular. Not only does it provide a fresh supply of nutrient-rich veggies, but it also provides a rewarding hobby that is both fun and educational.

If you’re interested in starting your own indoor vegetable garden, here are some tips to help you get started:

1. Choose the right location – Your indoor vegetable garden needs to be placed in a location that receives at least 6-8 hours of sunlight or near fluorescent lights for around 14 hours a day. Also, think about factors like temperature, humidity levels, and accessibility to water.

2. Select the right containers – There are various options available for containers such as pots, grow bags, and window boxes that provide proper drainage for plants’ roots. You can even use hydroponic systems which require minimal soil.

3. Choose the right vegetables – Choose vegetables that have higher success rates indoors such as lettuce, kale, tomatoes, herbs like basil and parsley, radishes green onions etc.,

4. Soil preparation – As plants do not get access to nutrients naturally indoors as they do outdoors its important created soil amendments for healthy growth.

5.Regular Maintenance: Regular watering and monitoring of light exposure will ensure healthy growth.

6.Control pests: Use organic methods or pest control products if necessary.
